One of the most talked about tablet under the umbrella of Samsung, is the upcoming Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G tablet. Considered to be a stronger contender to the recently released Apple iPad 2, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G tablet can now be pre-ordered in US.
One of the slimmest tablets the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE 16 GB tablet can be pre-ordered for $529.99 ( Rs 26,500), while on the other hand the 32GB variant will be available at Rs. $629.99 (Rs 30,000) on 2 years contract on a data plan. Both these devices are obtainable in metallic grey and glossy white colour options.
The other version of the Samsung's tablet, Tab 10.1 with WiFi has been available in the international market for a while now. However in India, users are still waiting to get a hold of the Tab 10.1 with WiFi. Some time back this tablet was available on eBay with 32GB of storage for $529.
This new Samsung tablet is powered by the latest Android 3.1 Honeycomb and it sports an attractive 10.1-inch HD capacitive display, which supports 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. There is an excellent 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor that makes it faster.
Moreover, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with 4G LTE connectivity and attributes like a 3.2-megapixel camera, which can record upto 720p HD video. Also, there is an another 2-megapixel camera to make video calls. In addition, the gadget has 7000mAh battery to offer long hours of back up and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n for easy connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G also comes pre-installed with a Flash Player 10.2, Samsung Mini Apps Tray, Reader’s Hub, Social Hub, Music Hub, 1080p HD video playback, and a lot more features.
Hopefully, it will glide down to India by the end of this year.
