The dual SIM handsets continues to be popular with the mobile users in India, but we have been spotting quite a few Triple SIM mobile phones making their way to the market. Just last month we had Tech-Com, announce the roll out a slew of devices including a Triple SIM phone.
We are not sure whether there is actually a need for triple SIM phones or the mobile manufacturers are simply catering to a anticipated demand but looking at the dual SIM market right now, we will not be surprised to see Triple SIM mobile phones being the next buzz word.
The recent one to join the triple SIM bandwagon is T-Series Play 333. Launched by the leaders in Indian music industry, T-Series, this Triple SIM and triple standby feature rich mobile phone comes equipped with a 2.0 inch display screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, music, FM Player and 3.5 mm audio jack.
The device is also preloaded with a dual LED torch light, English/Hindi Language support, Image Viewer and connectivity options through Bluetooth.
A basic entry level mobile phone, T-Series Play 333 is priced at Rs. 2,250 and comes with a battery life of 1100 mAh and a expandable memory of upto 8GB. Earlier last month T-Series also launched a devotional phone known as 'Bhakti Sagar' dedicated to those who like to stay connected with the divine forces.
A dual SIM phone, Bhakti Sagar mobile phone came preloaded with a slew of devotional content with access to over 65 aarti/bhajan/shabad in nine different languages.
The feature rich phone also enabled users to schedule aarti and bhajans according to days and time of the day. For example you could begin your Mondays listening to Shiv bhajans and have Hanuman bhajans waking you up on Tuesdays.
T-Series definitely seem to be bringing out some innovative handsets, we wonder what is next in the pipeline.
