Samsung unveils Galaxy Z, a budget version of Galaxy SII

All Galaxy S II craver's on budget say hello to Samsung's latest Android smartphone, Galaxy Z. A compact version of the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Z packs in the same great looks but drops in a few features to fit in your wallets.
Presently available for pre-order in Sweden at $635 (Rs 22,000), Galaxy Z comes equipped with a 4.2 inch WVGA Super Clear LCD display, 1GHz dual-core processor and 5-mega-pixel main camera with an LED flash and HD video recording.
Running on Android Gingerbread and laced with TouchWiz, Galaxy Z comes with a face-detection and 1.3 MP front-facing camera for video calling. The device like its older popular sibling also supports connectivity options through WiFi, Bluetooth and comes with 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot.
As Samsung Galaxy SII, world's slimmest smartphones continues to have a blockbuster run, it does not come as a surprise that Samsung decided to bring out a younger sibling in the form of Galaxy Z to cater to the budget smartphone users.
While they have been silent about the launch, we will be surprised not to see the device launching all over Europe and then trickling down to India in due course of time.
