The Android Froyo powered smartphone packs in a 1.2GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor. Sporting a 9mm slim, this 4G smartphone knocked of the LG Optimus Black in the Mr thin contest by a 0.2mm. The phone is equipped with a 8-megapixel snapper behind and a secondary 1.3 megapixel VGA camera on the front. Supporting the HSPA+CAT14 network, this smartphone promises up to 21Mbps data speeds on 4G networks.
The Samsung Infuse 4G is scheduled to arrive in the second quarter of this year via AT&T network in the US. However the arrival may be delayed due to the ongoing litigation between Apple and Samsung over product infringements. According to blog FOSS Patents, Apple has filed a injunction citing design patents, and utility patent infringement. The company is seeking a order which will keep Samsung from making, selling, and importing the Galaxy S 4G, Infuse 4G, Droid Charge smartphones, and Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet.
Once the product is launched in US, we can anticipate it hitting the Indian shores. However going by things at present India may not see the device till early next year.
