Motorola has launched an Android smartphone XT316 in China. The handset will soon be available in other parts of the world, starting from countries like Hong Kong and Latin America. However, other Asian and European nations will get the smart device a little late may be after the end of summer season.
The Motorola Fire is embedded with Moto Switch UI that allows the users to switch between friend-centric and work-focused modes at a great ease. The device is designed with a full QWERTY keyboard that allows faster text input.
The new Motorola XT316 mobile phone runs on Android 2.2 Froyo andcan be upgradeable to the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The device is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm processor, 256MB RAM and a microSDHC card slot that supports up to 32GB of memory.
Besides, the device sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen (320 x 240 pixel), 802.11 b/g/n, 3-megapixel camera and supports dual-band HSDPA/Quad-band EDGE. The Motorola smartphone also includes features like Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, AGPS, Wi-Fi, an FM radio with RDS support, a 3.5mm jack, and a 1,420 mAh battery that offers 8 hours of talk time.
Presently, the Motorola Fire is available in China and will be soon available in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Latin America, Europe Market and Asian Market.
