LG Optimus Net specs revealed

We have seen quite a few LG handsets leaked and revealed over the past few days. Most of these mobile phones are within the entry to mid level range and boast of impressive specs. Starting from the most recent one - this week we saw LG's budget handset LG A230, LG Optimus Slider a mid range Android smartphone and a touch-and-type qwerty smartphone known as LG Optimus Pro make its way to the web.
A series of other upcoming LG smartphones namely Samsung Chief, LG Q, LG Optimus B and Motorola Sunfire are also rumored to hit the market by 2012.
Now the recent entrant joining this list is LG Optimus Net P690. Blog of Mobile has posted a detailed specification list for the device. According to the available spec sheet, the device packs in a Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 and qualcomm MSM 7227T which clocks in a 800MHz.
Sporting a 3.2 HVCA screen with a resolution of 320x480, the device comes with connectivity options of Bluetooth 3.0, LAN IEEE 802.11 g/g/n (2.4 GHz)and USB among others. Measuring 113.5x59x12.1mm, LG Optimus Net packs in both 3G (HSDPA 3.6Mbps) and 2G (EDGE, GPRS) options. The specs also indicate a RAM of 512 MB and a support for memory using microSD card.
A good battery life of 1500 mAh as well as a updated gingerbread OS will definitely make LG Optimus Net a desirable pick. This full touch screen was spotted in Italy and we got our hands on a video which gives a demo of the device. The VO is in Italian, but it does give you a good round up of the device.
According to Pocket Now, "its WCDMA bands means we won't be seeing the smartphone in the US anytime soon; look for it to show up in Europe, and possibly in Asia". While there is no official news on the release in India, we hope to see it soon.
LG definitely seem to have packed in a lot of surprises for its fans this year.
