LG has launched two of its latest creations naming Optimus Pro and Optimus Net. Both of these smartphones will be running over Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Optimus Pro is sports a Qwerty keyboard and designed like a candy bar, whereas the Optimus Net comes with a full touchscreen.

LG will offer these handsets with dual-SIM mechanism in some selected markets including Asia. Certainly, the brand will introduce Optimus Net in different variants for distinct markets and both mobile phones will be offered in 30 markets starting with Europe.

With these two new handsets, LG is focussing over the attractive mid-range Android smartphone division. The Optimus Pro offers a 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen display other than its easy texting Qwerty mechanism.

This smartphone will be the LG's first ever touch and type phone, including an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227T processor with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB ROM. The latest LG Optimus Pro is focussed over the social networking and texting fanatics running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and including Optimus UI on it.

The device comes embedded with a 3-megapixel camera supporting 4x Zoom and excellent video recording at VGA 24 frames per second. Besides, the LG phone includes accelerometer and proximity sensors. When it comes to connectivity, it comprises Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and the device can also create WiFi hotspot if required. Some other interesting attributes of this device are 3.5mm Audio jack, FM Radio and 1500 mAh battery.

On the other hand, the newly introduced LG Optimus Net sports 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen along with HVGA (320x480) pixel resolution. It is also embedded with the same 800 Mhz Qualcomm MSM7227T processor, 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.

Optimus Net will also run the popular Android version Gingerbread and Optimus UI 2.0. In addition to it, there will also be a 3-megapixel camera,  Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), 1500mAh battery, Bluetooth 3.0, and A-GPS support.
