The multinational company Viewsonic is planning to launch two latest smartphones in the Indian market in coming days. One among the two handsets to be released soon is Viewsonic V350, which will be running over Android 2.2 Froyo with a latest 3D interface. While on the hand, Viewpad 4 will be sporting a 4.1-inch screen and 1 GHz Qualcomm processor and an excellent Viewsonic user interface.
The Viewsonic V350 smartphone sports a 3.5-inch display and a dual SIM Android supporting mechanism. Soon after the release of Spice Mi-270, which was the first dual SIM Android smartphone of the country. However, the Spice's first attempt to make an Android dual SIM device was quite basic, but it is not the case with upcoming Viewsonic V350 as it will be fully loaded.
Ajay Sharma, country manager of Viewsonic in India, told in an interview to Mobile Indian, "We will launch these two smartphones along with our tablets. Both the phones are high on technology and will offer superior functionality. We will also introduce our dual SIM technology and 3D interface with these phones."
The new V350 keeps activated both the SIM cards all the time and runs Android 2.2 Froyo, allows you to use two network services at the same time. It has 5-megapixel auto focus camera, microSD expansion up to 32 GB, HVGA (320 x 480 pixel) capacitive touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and Assisted GPS navigation. The handset is expected to be priced around Rs 17,000, which seems tad bit high as it has older version of Android.
Whereas, the ViewPad 4 comes with Flash 10.1 and has a 4.1-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen. The device also includes Android Gingerbread OS, which is the latest version used by most of the Android phones these days.
The Viewsonic dual SIM supporting mobile will be featuring a powerful Qualcomm MSM 8255 1 GHz platform. Moreover, the device will support HD 720p video recording, upload, playback and a mini HDMI 720p display output. There will be an excellent 5-megapixel camera with auto focus.
Some other good features are also present in the device like Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n wireless, View Scene UI, GPS and front facing camera. ViewPad 4 is likely to be priced for Indian customers somewhere around Rs 20,000.
