HTC ChaCha launches in India for Rs. 15,990

One of the most awaited smartphones from the globally renowned brand HTC has finally arrived in India. The mobile phone is popular for its social networking features, especially the Facebook synchronization.

HTC ChaCha is an Android smartphone designed with Qwerty keyboard for easy texting. The device also sports a dedicated Facebook button that directly takes you to the Facebook. This HTC phone is priced for Indian market at Rs. 15990.

Tata DOCOMO is offering some special benefits with this device, to its 3G subscribers. These benefits are like 3GB free data that is valid for a period of 90 days for its prepaid customers, while 1GB of free data will be provided to postpaid customers, each month among all the 3G circles valid for 90 days. In addition to this, all of its 3G subscribers will also get 3 hours of free Mobile TV for 90 days.

Besides, Tata DOCOMO 2G prepaid subscribers can enjoy 3GB of free data and 300 Tata to Tata local calls, which will be valid for a period of 90 days. Whereas, 1GB free data as well as free 100 minutes of Tata to Tata calls is on offer for 3 months each month to its postpaid customers among all the 2G circles.

The newly introduced 3G enabled HTC smartphone runs Android  2.3.3 Gingerbread, the latest version of Android OS. It also has the latest version of HTC Sense to integrate Facebook. When ever you make a phone call to you buddies, it shows your friend’s latest status and photos, and even reminds you about his or her birthday if it is approaching.
