Maxx mobiles has launched MX401 a bar shaped headset and a QWERTY MQ601 as part of its Khamoshhh series with the assurance of crystal clear voice quality.
The two phones have SAM or Small Array Microphone, the hardware that suppresses ambient noise and improves call quality. SAM, sourced from Fortemedia, uses ‘innovative signal processing technique’ to bring down ambient noises and eradicate echoes. The phones can suppress up to 80 decibel of noise and can filter the call from both the sender and the receiver’s side.
This feature sets the Maxx phones apart, since all other phones achieve noise reduction only through codecs. In fact, in the Maxx phones, users can choose the level of noise reduction they desire by the touch of a button. SAM is also power efficient. These dual sim phones have other desirable features as well.
The MX401 includes a 2 mega-pixel camera, FM radio, MP3 player and 3GPP/AVI/MP4 video player, features found in the MQ601 as well. The MQ601 is Java enabled too. With a 2.4’’ display, the screen of the MX401 is only slightly larger than the MQ 601’s 2.3". The QWERTY comes with a relatively low capacity 1000 mAh battery which offers 4.5 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby time.
The MX401 has a 1500 mAh battery which offers 5.5 hours of talk time and 450 hours of standby time. The MX401 is available in blue and yellow and the MQ601 is accessible in black and grey.
Reasonably priced at Rs. 2,833 and Rs. 2.970, both the MX401 and the MQ601 offer clear conversations without draining the pocket.
According to Maxx Group Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Aggarwal, feature rich and affordable phones from the Khamoshhh series are perfect for the Indian audience, who find it difficult to have a clear conversation in noisy public places. With the launch of the two phones, Maxx now has 25 models in its portfolio.
Maxx phones can be bought in over 25,000 retail outlets including Croma, Hyper City, Planet M, Reliance Web World, Next electronics etc. The company also has 500 after sales service centers to fix any problems that may arise in the devices.
