Apple Inc. the big shot iproducts manufacturer of US has almost won over the battle in the courtroom against the HTC, who has allegedly infringed on two patents of the Apple Inc.

In the preliminary ruling the six-bench panel of ITC, has cleared that HTC has violated two patents out of the ten claimed by the Apple. U.S. patent number-5, 846,647 and 6, 343, 263 are the two patents, which are supposed to be violated by the HTC.

The first patent is about the “real-time signal processing system for serially transmitted data” and second is about a system which recognizes and permits users to interact with on-screen information like addresses and phone numbers.

HTC is confident that they have not violated any of the U.S. patent law as it was a open-source product. While the final ruling is yet to come, if the verdict favors Apple, it can severely cause damage to the production of the HTC android mobiles, if which are shipped in bulk to the US.

Interestingly there are rumors that Apple has also infringed the patents of S3 Graphics, a company that HTC might take over soon. So if such tie-up happens then it is sure that the matter will be sorted out with mutual settlement.

The final verdict will be quite crucial to the decide the future of the HTC - whether it will sink or swim.
