Whereas, its costliest handset BlackBerry Torch costs around Rs 27,000. It shows that the range of BlackBerry smartphones available in the country is really very wide, which covers mid-level to high-end smartphones.
Seeing the high demand and growing popularity of the BlackBerry handsets, most of all network providers in India are offering special tariff plans to attract the users.
To cover the entire array of BlackBerry devices and focusing all the categories of users, major telecom companies like BSNL, MTNL, Airtel, Tata Teleservices, Aircel, Idea and RCom are offering lucrative prepaid as well as postpaid plans.
A website Mobile Indian has recently posted report on such affordable tariff plans that Indian network operators are providing for BlackBerry users. According to which the cheapest postpaid plan is available at a price of Rs 271 per month, with unlimited access to BlackBerry Mail and Blackberry Messenger(BBM) services that is introduced by BSNL.
