Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Mini Pro all set to hit Indian market

Sony Ericsson is ready to hit the Indian market with its latest smartphones Xperia Mini and Mini Pro. Some of the online shopping websites have already started taking prior bookings for Xperia Mini at a price of Rs. 15,099.

The new Xperia Mini is mentioned on the Sony Ericsson India's website as available. However, the company has not yet revealed its price, which is expected to be somewhere around Rs.14000. On the other hand, the Xperia Mini Pro is about to hit the Indian market in the last week of July. Both of these things are indicating that both of these smartphones are likely to hit the stores this week.

It must be a good news for all those who were waiting for the new Xperia smartphones at budget price. The pricing of these excellent device were already expected to be affordable, as the company has recently slashed prices of it few high-end phones including Xperia Play.

Both the phones have similar specs other than the slides Qwerty keyboard of Xperia Mini Pro. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread running phones are embedded with single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz and complemented by an Adreno 205 GPU.

Moreover, both Xperia Mini and Mini pro sports a 3.0-inch LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen with support for 16 million colors and 320 x 480 pixels resolution, working over Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine.

The Sony Ericsson mobile phones are embedded with 512 MB of RAM and microSD card slot, which allows you to expand the storage space up to 32GB, while 2GB memory card comes along with the phone. The Xperia mini comes equipped with 320 MB of internal memory, whereas  the other handset Xperia mini pro is provided with 400 MB of internal memory.

In addition, there are multiple connectivity options available like Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA function and microUSB. Other than this, these Xperia phones also have GPS with A-GPS support and digital compass that makes them even more advanced and useful.
