A latest upbringing of Research in Motion (RIM) has surfaced online, as the US based network operator Verizon mistakenly put the BlackBerry Bold 9930 promotional video on its website. The new Bold 9930 sports a 2.8-inch display and is boasted to be the slimmest BlackBerry handset with 10.5mm thickness up-till date.
The recently seen over the net, BlackBerry Bold 9930 was announced two months back at the event of BlackBerry World 2011. Now the smartphone is expected to be officially launched soon by RIM on Verizon.
Probably, RIM will introduce the BlackBerry OS 7 based mobile phones today initiating with the most awaited BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Bold 9930. Both the BlackBerry smartphones will be equipped with a fast 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm 8655 Snapdragon processor coupled with 768 MB RAM is suitable for the new BlackBerry OS 7. Besides, both of them will also be featuring 8 GB on-board memory and support up to 32 GB external memory through memory card.
These BlackBerry Bold phones sports 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen displays with 287 PPI resolution, while they also supports 640x480 pixel resolution to offer the better view of text and images. The 5-megapixel cameras of the Bold 9900 and 9930 offers an amazing imaging experience to the users. Both of them are also capable of HD video recording at 720p. Moreover, they will have faster Bluetooth 2.1, GPS chip, Digital Compass, Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor.
The price of these devices has not yet revealed yet, but we expect it to be above Rs. 30,000 due to the hardware installed in both of them.
