HTC has embarked upon a wonderful PR strategy to make its phones popular. It has recognized that controversy sells. Therefore, it is not surprising that the company has had many leaks over the past few months. First, it was the HTC Bliss. Then it was followed up with the Doubleshot and the Eternity.
Now, according the latest news, supposed images of HTC's newest smartphone, the Ruby have been leaked online. These pictures include a front shot with half the phone visible and a back shot of the phones' reflection on a tablet.
But still, it does raise a question - What was HTC trying to leak - the phone or its own Puccini tablet?
The images do not look any different than the smartphones already available in the market. According to speculations, this phone will most probably run on an Android OS platform. No surprise there since HTC remains the top Android vendor. Also, one should keep in mind that this phone is just speculated to be Ruby. In orderly fashion, HTC has neither denied nor confirmed the rumors.
The images confirm that the phone would have a dual-Flash camera on the back and a 3.5 mm Audio Jack on the top. Besides that, all we can say is that the phone deviates from the popular square shape for phones. The Ruby comes from a line of attractive phones such as the Desire and the ChaCha and is expected to continue the trend.
The images shows a white phone but we suppose, that it would be available in more colors. Thats all for now. Watch this space for more news on the HTC Ruby.
