No more 1 paisa per second calls on Vodafone and Idea

Soon after Airtel's tariff hike announcement, now Vodafone and Idea has also joined the race of increasing prepaid tariffs.
However, both of them have not yet announced it formally but, we noticed that 1 paisa per second calling plans has been discontinued by them, basically for STD as well as local calls made to other networks.
Idea Cellular has hiked the the charges in Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Kerala, and Gujarat. In Gujarat circle now you have to pay 1.2 paisa per second for all calls and Rs. 1.5 for both STD and local SMS. Whereas, at other circles you have to pay 1.2 paisa for calls and local SMS at Re 1 for other networks.
While, Vodafone appears to have changed pre-paid plans in 12 of its 22 circles, just like Idea Cellular. In some circles such as Haryana, UP east and west, Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa, Rajasthan and Kerala STD tariff will be now 1.5 paisa per second. In other 5 circles comprising Delhi, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu the call rates to other networks and STD from now will be 1.2 paisa per second.
These tariff increase has not been announced officially but is mentioned as the current tariffs on the network providers' respective websites, when we checked. They might come up with some special offers to reduce the hiked rates, later sometime.
It is expected that the new operators might not join the race of hiking the tariff rates in order to attract the subscribers, as there must be some users who may now plan to switch to some other operators with cheap tariff rates.
