HTC news: Press shots of HTC Puccini leaked

Published on Jul 29, 2011

Not long after the leak of HTC ruby, the first pictures of HTC's highly anticipated tablet, Puccini, have surfaced online.

Not surprising at all, since it has always been the same old story with HTC. Their products tend to get leaked just before their launch. What this means is that either they have a faulty PR department or it is their new PR strategy. I will bet on the latter.

The HTC Puccini is being considered the next best thing in the tablet computer market. We give you a lowdown on this tablet along with exciting new images released online.

The Puccini has been creating waves since the last couple of months. In fact, some images had  already been leaked as early as May this year.

So, why is it so hot?

The Puccini is an addition to the high-end tablet segment, which till now had been dominated by products such as the iPad, the Galaxy Tab and the Motorola Xoom.

HTC has always scored on the looks and functioning count and people expect it to repeat it's success with the Puccini. The Puccini would sport a 10-inch, 1280 x 720 display along with an 8 mega-pixel Dual LED Flash camera, stereo speakers and a microphone.

The Puccini is touted to be the most powerful tablet ever. It will be powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor that will ensure monster speeds. It will run on the  Android Honeycomb OS or the Ice Cream Sandwich OS, depending upon the timing of its release. Unlike many other tablets, it will be easy to use and navigate as it will come with its own stylus.

Besides that, the Puccini would support 4G internet speeds with its LTE technology. The leaked pictures suggest that the Puccini will be a curvaceous tablet with a attractive front and back. Moreover, it might come with an attractive case as well.

Going by the pictures, it sure seems a tempting buy. Watch this space for more on the Puccini and other tablets.
