We review C2-00, a stylish dual SIM phone, that comes with a easy SIM swap facility and great multimedia and messaging features

Joining the dual SIM bandwagon quite late, Nokia has nevertheless been working hard in catching up in the race. The Finnish giant has been rolling out several budget friendly dual SIM mobile phones to reach out the masses. The recent offering from Nokia in this category is the C2-00.

Available in three colors White, Jet Black, and Grey, Nokia C2-00 is a bar-style phone. With a rather decent panel and features, the phone performs its basic functions quite well. At the 108 x 45 x 14.65 mm in dimensions  this lightweight feature phone at 74.1 g with battery makes Nokia C2-00 highly portable. The device sports a screen size of 1.8 inches with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. Its display looks very attractive, thanks to the addition of the silver rim that runs along.

Nokia C2-00 is a two-in one handset, which enables you to run  two SIM cards on it at a given time. When you switch on the phone you need not select any particular SIM. Both the SIMs will start simultaneously and by clicking on the SIM card option you can select the SIM you wish to use and can attend all calls that are received on either of the SIM. Something that we see Nokia borrow from Micromax M2 is the SIM card slot placing.

The extra SIM slot has been given along the side panel from where you can insert/remove the other SIM without having to remove the back cover and battery (as done traditionally). The best part about this dual SIM handset is that remembers upto five SIM cards which eliminates the need to reboot or redefine the settings. Before C2-00, Nokia had launched C1-00 model, but C2-00 is far better than the Nokia C1-00 model, because of the additional features.

The processor of this phone is really fast. It works very efficiently with  every application opening instantly. Besides this it has Bluetooth in it 2.1 +EDR, High-speed USB 2.0 (micro USB connector). It has a talk-time of upto 5.75 hrs, and standby time upto 460 hrs. It run on the Dual band 900/1800 Mhz and consists of GPRS connectivity, which was not there in the C1 model.
