Samsung launches three full touch screen and 3G compatible mobile phones in to the Indian market

Korean mobile maker Samsung has launched three full touch screen phones in to the Indian market. The mobile phones, Star, Star 3G and BeatDJ are manufactured in the company's Noida manufacturing facility.
The Samsung Star S5233 is just 11.9 mm thick and comes with a 7.63cm WQVGA full touch-screen. It also incorporates Samsung's TouchWiz UI. Its 'Photo Contact' feature helps users to make calls by simply touching the desired contact's image stored in the phone.
It also features a 3.2 mega-pixel camera complete with smile recognition capability. Its Gesture Control feature allows you to unlock the screen or run applications by simply showing the phone your chosen gesture command. The phone comes with an internl memory of 50MB which can be expanded up to 8GB and is priced at Rs 11,100.The Samsung Star 3G S5603, as its name suggests, is a fully loaded 3G set. It has pretty much the same set of features as the Samsung Star plus 3G compatibility. The phone is priced at Rs 14,499.
Samsung BeatDJ follows the company's other two Beat series music phones launched last year, the Beat 450 and Beat 270. The new Samsung BeatDJ runs Samsung’s intuitive DISC User Interface and comes packed with Bang & Olufsen audio technology. The phone is equipped with built-in stereo speakers — powered by B&O’s ICEpower amplifier — and also features a 3 megapixel camera. The Samsung BeatDJ is priced at Rs 18,990.
