Samsung B7722 Duos (dual SIM) 3G mobile phone is now officially announced in India

Samsung has launched a new high-end device B7722, which is a first dual SIM handset with 3G support capabilities in India. The new Samusng B7722 Duos dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) is a 3G-ready bar phone. The device comes with the options of two SIM cards, running 3G on one and GPRS/EDGE network on the other. The Samsung B7722 mobile phone comes with rich assortment of features that promises many advanced features that lacked earlier released dual SIM models in India. The key features of this high-end device include a 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom and LED flash support, QVGA video recording @ 30 fps and secondary camera for video calling.The device is enabled with Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP support, up to 3.6Mbps HSDPA connectivity on one SIM slot, a micro USB port v2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity. Preloaded with stereo FM radio with RDS, the handset comes with large phonebook memory and up to 8GB expandable MicroSD card slot. The phone features Mobile Tracker, Document Viewer, Phonebooting without SIM, Google Map, RSS Reader, Online Widget and SOS messaging. Powered with Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery, Samsung B7722 offers up to 770 minutes of talk time and up to 420 hours of standby time. The official pricing and release date of Samsung B7722 is not announced, but this device is expected to hit European market first. The speculated price for this device in India is going to be somewhere around Rs. 13,000.
