Samsung launches Galaxy S Plus, Star II Duos
Samsung has announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy S Plus and Samsung Star II Duos in Russia
Based on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the Samsung Galaxy S Plus sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display and 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor by Qualcomm.
The Samsung Galaxy S Plus is launched as the Galaxy S 2011 edition in Russia but reportedly it will be known as the Galaxy S Plus in other parts of the world.
The next device Samsung Star II Duos is a new version of Samsung Star II in the Duos family. It's a dual SIM device with a larger 3.2 inch screen and powerful 1200mAh battery. The Star II Duos further comes enabled with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.
The Samsung Galaxy S 2011 edition and the Samsung Star II Duos (priced around $250) is currently available in Russia only. Stay tuned as we bring you more information on these devices as and when the launch happens in this part of the world.
