Spice to announce a dual SIM Android phone

A new Spice Mi-270, first dual SIM Android phone, is about to be introduced in the Indian market

Spice Mobility is all set to launch its first dual SIM Android smartphone in the Indian market, reportedly by the end of this week. The brand is currently focusing over Internet ready handsets.

As per Dilip Modi, managing director, Spice Mobility, "the company will launch its first dual SIM Android smartphone this week in India. This handset will include umpteen free applications to address the digital lifestyle of youth and it will be available at Rs 9,000 approximately."

The upcoming Spice Mi-270 Android smartphone will soon be added to the growing Android phones' portfolio of the company which already boast of earlier launched Spice Mi-300 and Mi-310 in India.

The new dual SIM Android phone will also feature a dual camera and will run over Android 2.1. Equipped with a 3.7 inch capacitive large screen, the Mi-270 will pack a powerful 600 MHz chipset from Media Tek, reports The Mobile Indian.

Spice Mobiles recently hit the headlines with the launch of Spice M-9000 Popkorn, a pocket projector phone, and another budget phone with loads of features Spice M-5700 Flo in the Indian market.

The new dual SIM Android phone Spice Mi-270 will be available all over the county soon at Spice Hotspots and several other retail chains in India.
