Acer rolls out Android Ice Cream Sandwich OTA update to its Iconia Tab A200

Acer has rolled out the Android 4.0 OTA update to its Iconia Tab A200.

This comes as great news for Acer Iconia Tab A200 owners who have been waiting for the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update.

Acer had promised a Android 4.0 update for February, when it launched the tablet last month. And we are glad that it delivered on its promise.

The delicious update pushes the build number of the tablet to Acer_AV041_A200_1.037.00_PA_CUS1 according to Phandroid.

If you haven't seen the Android 4.0.3 update yet, head to the Iconia Tab A200 settings. To check for the latest update and to update the tablet, go to: Settings > about tablet > system update > check now.

Just for a quick refresher, Iconia Tab A200 tablet sports a 10.1-inch screen size with WXGA resolution of 1280x800 pixels. Measuring 260x175x12.4 mm, the Tegra 2 powered device houses a 1GHz processor and a ULP GeForce graphics engine.

The tablet is well known for the Acer's Ring Interface which makes multi-tasking a breeze. The interface also provides a seamless navigation experience and makes apps accessible from any screen.
