According to the latest rumors, Nokia's Window 8 powered Nokia Tablet is expected to launch in Q4 2012

Nokia, according to reports, will launch a Windows 8-powered tablet in Q4 of 2012.

Powered by the  dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset, the 10-inch tablet will once again see Nokia join hands with Microsoft.

According to (at times reliable) Digitimes, 'Nokia is expected to outsource production of the 10-inch tablets to Compal Electronics with the first batch of shipments to top 200,000 units'.

It added: 'Nokia's joining of the WoA (Windows on ARM) camp is expected to give Microsoft additional strength to compete with Google's Android platform as well as Apple's iOS.'

It goes without saying that the arrival of the Nokia Tablet will further the competition among other manufacturers.

This latest rumor is in sync with the earlier news from Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin.

Murtazin who got the whiff of the news from the Russian Nokia office, had tweeted, 'Nokia russian hq received yesterday docs about first win8 tablet from company. Funny fact that in paper mentions - Nokia wont be unique :-)'

We are definitely excited about the tablet becoming a reality soon and with Apple's next iPad on the way, Nokia has enough time to study the new iPad elements and bring in a tablet that offers much more to the consumers.
