Sony LT29i Hayabusa aka Xperia GX caught online yet again
Sony’s next flagship, the LT29i Hayabusa, has a curved body and some pretty amazing specs
Sony LT29i Hayabusa has leaked online once again and has the tech world talking nonstop about its rumoured specs. This time, it has appeared in a collage of photographs most likely designed for the phone’s marketing. The pictures that Phonearena got its hands on from IT168 are a bit hazy but give viewers a basic idea of what the phone will look like.
From the snapshots of the latest Sony offering, it looks like the LT29i Hayabusa will ship in a curvaceous white or black body. The Sony logo and the rear facing camera on the phone are clearly distinguishable in the leaked photographs. Though the phone seems to be quite thin, it is difficult as yet to pinpoint its exact dimensions.
The LT29i Hayabusa is believed to be launching with the brand name Xperia GX and is rumoured to sport a sophisticated set of specs. Apparently, the phone will run on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 and a 2200mAh battery. It will most likely ship with a 4.55-inch HD display and a 13MP ‘stacked’ Exmor camera. The word around the tech world is that it will hold all this, and more, in a body just 7mm thick.
Sony is understood to be looking at a June-July launch for its next offering. Though the price of the LT29i Hayabusa is yet unknown, it will most likely be priced at around $630 or approx. Rs. 32,000/-.
If the Xperia GX is as good as it seems Sony will have a new feather in its cap, especially given the phone’s powerful camera. With all the smartphones piling up in the retail market this year, every manufacturer needs something different to help it stand out. For Sony, it might just be the curvy LT29i Hayabusa!
