According to Apple’s supply chain partners, parts are already being built for the next iPhone and a 10-inch iPad

iDevice loyalists have a lot to look forward to in the coming months if what Apple’s Taiwan based supply chain partners have revealed is true. According to sources in the know, Apple has already given out orders for building parts for the next iPhone and bigger, better 10-inch iPad.

Phonearena came across a report in Digtimes that stated that Pegatron is rumoured to have received the go-ahead from Apple to start making the next iPhone and iPad. Manufacturers in Apple’s supply chain spoke to Digitimes about Pegatron’s orders. Pegatron is one of the OEMs involved in the manufacture of Apple’s latest iPad and the iPhone 4S.

According to Digitimes’s report, the retail market can expect the next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5, sometime in September and a 10-inch tablet later in the year, in the fourth quarter.

Keeping Apple’s track record in mind, the rumour about the iPhone hitting stores in September is quite plausible; it would have been a year since the release of the iPhone 4S. Experts are doubtful, however, about Apple coming up with a 10-inch tablet. Some like Phonearena believe the company is probably just involved in a test run of some sort.

As always, news about Apple’s plans has sent the tech world into a tizzy, with hopes of a bigger, better iPhone sky rocketing. Smartphone enthusiasts are hoping that Apple will finally release its next iPhone with a bigger display screen, especially now that Samsung has gone all out with the Galaxy S III.

We will be keeping our eyes and ears open for any new developments from Apple’s workshops – official and rumoured. Stay tuned to KYMI as we bring you breaking Apple news, as it happens.
