BlackBerry officially launches Porsche designed P’9881 for a whopping Rs 1,39,990 in India. The ultra-premium device will be available in selected BlackBerry Premium and exclusive stores in India

What do you get when you throw in a Bold 9900 in a Porsche cooking pot? A glorified BlackBerry Bold 9900 at a jaw-dropping price of Rs 1,39,990.

The ultra-premium device known as BlackBerry-Porsche P'9981 is built with forged stainless steel frame and sports hand-wrapped leather back cover, sculpted QWERTY keyboard, and crystal clear touch display.

The device includes an exclusive Porsche Design UI and a bespoke Wikitude World Browser augmented reality app experience in addition to a exclusive PIN that easily identifies the user as holder of a Porsche Design P’9981 smartphone from BlackBerry.
 
The OS 7 device packs in 2.8-inch display with a resolution of 640×480 pixels, a 5-megapixel camera, 1.2 GHz processor and Liquid Graphics technology, bringing in a highly responsive touch experience.

As expected the device supports HD video recording capabilities, 24-bit high resolution graphics, advanced sensors and in-built NFC support. It also includes ample storage option with 8 GB on-board memory which can be further expanded up to 40 GB via a microSD card.

The Porsche Design P’9981 smartphone will be available at BlackBerry Premium and BlackBerry exclusive stores in India.
