Nokia Asha 308 and 309 might have been accidentally leaked in a document
The two handsets are believed to expand Nokia's feature phone lineup
Nokia's Asha lineup might be refreshed with the addition of the Asha 308 and 309 according to a new document leaked in China.
Nokia's Asha lineup is pretty popular in the country. The Symbian S40 offering comes in different sizes and shapes, adding to the versatility of the series. And according to a new report originating out of China, the Asha range could be updated with two new phones called the Asha 308 and 309.
A leaked document (in Chinese), reveals the existence of the two devices. A tipster has further suggested that the Asha 308 is a dual SIM handset while the 309 is a regular single SIM handset.
Additionally, both the handsets are said to feature Wi-Fi connectivity. There are a couple of images showing the alleged phone being used in public by a random user believed to be a tester. Further fueling the claims of this rumor is the fact that the device is covered by a case which shows that the device is meant to be hidden from public view.
There is no additional info available about the device, so we recommend you to take it with a pinch of salt. It doesn't come as a surprise though, considering the popularity of the Asha series in the Asian markets, it would make sense for Nokia to expand the lineup.
