Samsung Galaxy S4 release date in India confirmed for April 2013

The latest rumors peg the arrival of Samsung's flagship smartphone, Galaxy S4 on March 15. The device is expected to go on sale by end of April

 

The world has been awaiting the launch of Samsung's next flagship, the Galaxy S4 with baited breath. With rumors suggesting a March release on the cards, we might get our hands on the new-age smartphone sooner than expected.

The news which comes via SamMobile indicates that the Korean giant will unveil the Android powdered handset on March 15 at the Samsung’s unpacked event ( the dates have not been disclosed yet for the unpacked event.)

The Samsung fanatics also state that the company will be sending out the invites for the Samsung unpacked event, soon after the MWC concludes. The device which will go on sale early April in Europe followed by Asia before the end of the month. Other countries like US, Australia and Africa are likely to receive the Galaxy S4 around May or June.

As most of our readers already know, Samsung's next powerhouse is expected to flaunt a 5-inch 1080p display along with the recently-announced Exynos 5 Octa SoC, Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and 2GB RAM.

On the camera front, it will boast of 13-megapixel primary camera with 1080p Full HD video shooting capability along with a 2-megapixel front facing camera capable of shooting 720p HD videos. The Galaxy S4 is also rumoured to ship with a 2,600 mAh battery and wireless charging capabilities.

Given the impressive list of specs, looks like the Galaxy S4 will smoke out its rivals.

Infact the tech giant is apparently prepping as many as 10 million units of the handset for shipping every month starting from the time of its release.

Looks like Samsung is playing it safe with its 2013 flagship smartphone and upping its supply to meet the expected record breaking demand. Will Galaxy S4 smash its predecessor's record? It surely look like it.
