Samsung Champ specifications

The Samsung Champ is another budget-end phone from Samsung. Priced at below Rs. 4,00, you get quite a lot for your money.

There's a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with 256,000 colours that takes up most of the front of the Champ.

There's only 30MB internal memory, but this can be boosted with a microSD card up to 8GB in capacity.

The Samsung Champ features a 1.3-megapixel camera, perfect for taking quick snaps on the move, although we wouldn't recommend you print them out in A3 because they're not the best quality we've seen from a mobile camera.

Other multimedia features including an FM radio with RDS and recording and an MP3 player.

The Samsung Champ isn't as colourful as other Samsung devices, available in black or white with no rear plate customisation. Below the screen there are three buttons - call answer, call and and back. The microphone is at the bottom of the screen, alongside a loud speaker.

The battery capacity is 1000mAh - pretty large for such a small device. The battery will provide you with a fair amount of juice, meaning you won't have to keep plugging the phone in to charge.
