Corby Pro uses Samsung’s proprietary Touchwiz OS which brings fun and ease to the users coupled with a lively and colorful experience. Corby Pro provides the users with three different home screens that can be customized with numerous widgets and shortcuts to the users liking. All widgets are contained in a tray on one side of the screen and can be pulled out as and when needed. You can pick the widgets from the tray and drag them to the screen for quick access and if you find no use for a particular widget simply drag it back to the tray, to remove it. We were quite impressed with the responsive navigation between the screens. We did not experience any lag and to our delight Corby Pro was able to switch back and forth, landscape and portrait aspect ratios with ease.

Samsung Corby Pro also comes with a impressive phonebook which holds upto 2000 contacts with multiple fields. You can search for a contact by typing their name and interestingly enough the Corby Pro is able to display the names from both the phone memory as well as the SIM card together.

This 3G enabled mobile handset comes with a in-built memory of 128MB which is expandable upto 16GB. It also offers a host of connectivity issues like bluetooth 2.1 + EDR offers wireless connections to other mobile devices and peripherals. One of the cool features of the phone is its conversational messaging system. Unlike any other messaging system, Corby Pro presents the messages in a real conversation format by treating SMS as instant messages. So whenever you SMS your friend, all the SMS with his or her contact get stacked up together in a linear format.

Samsung Corby Pro also comes with a flashy dialer option. All your contacts 'photos' are stacked up on one side and all you need to do is tap on the desired contact to pull it up. The contacts pop up with options for voice call and sending a message options. Then it also has Google latitude which helps you find where you are and then share your location with your friends.

Samsung Corby Pro comes equipped with a 960 mAh Li-Ion battery which offers talk time up to 8 hours and stand by time of 560 hours. Like Samsung Corby, Corby Pro also boasts of attractive  replaceable rear covers. You can dress up your phone in stylish micro pattern, graphic pattern or black micro pattern jackets. Unfortunately if you were planning to use some of your old Corby's covers on the Corby Pro you will be disappointed to find that they are not compatible.

Under the battery cover there is a hot-swappable microSD card slot, which is great as you don't have to switch off your phone to remove the SD card unlike in other phones.
