Samsung Galaxy Note 2 retails for Rs 27,500 with buy back offer
To take on Apple, Samsung introduces Rs 10,000 cashback offer for Galaxy Note 2
Following in the footsteps of Apple, Samsung has introduced a buyback offer for the Galaxy Note 2.
To take on Apple’s aggressive EMI schemes, Samsung had introduced a cashback offer in April, with buyers of phones like Galaxy Note 800 tablet, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Grand and Galaxy camera entitled to up to Rs 5,668 cashback. Now the South Korean company has introduced a new offer for its Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
The company is offering a flat Rs 10,000 cashback when you exchange your old phone for a Galaxy Note 2. With the cashback, the Galaxy Note 2s price effectively goes down to Rs 27,500.
The above buy back offer can also be clubbed with a 6 month zero percent EMI scheme, where in a user will have to pay Rs 4,564 each month for that the EMI period.
Samsung has also extended the 12 month interest free EMI offer on Samsung Galaxy devices including the Note 2 with 15% cash back offer till April 30.
The phones which are entitled to the Rs 10,000 cashback include Nokia Lumia range and PureView phones, Samsung’s phones (except the Galaxy S4), all BlackBerry, HTC and Apple phones and some of Micromax and Karbonn phones too.
Consumers need to carry the smartphone with a charger and submit a self-attested photocopy of a government-issued ID.
Apple’s own upgrade offer for iPhone 4 buyers in India includes upto Rs 7,000 in exchange for their old smartphones. Apple’s scheme has been a massive hit among buyers and the huge demand resulted in Apple growing its sales to almost 400 percent in India.
Well the Samsung vs Apple battle rolls out yet again. The good thing is that the winner will be the consumer.
