Samsung and Google unveiled their highly anticipated device Galaxy Nexus today. Debuting Google’s latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system and super impressive specs, those who got the first look at the stunning device couldn't stop raving. Know Your Mobile picks up the conversation.

Galaxy Nexus S reminded Engadget of Galaxy S II, mainly because of the 1.2Ghz processor and the fast performance speed. Loving the super eye pleasing, new Roboto font, Engadget folks were also impressed with the thin design. The only drawback according to them was the capacitive touch response which at times was sluggish.

Echoing similar sentiments, Slashgear team was bowled over by the 4.65-inch super AMOLED HD display and the stunning and vibrant picture quality. According to them, "the good part about the UI of the ICS is that there’s no icon jaggedness because of the new Roboto font designed to suit high-resolution screens."

While equipping Galaxy Nexus with a 5-megapixel camera as opposed to the 8-megapixel camera, common among all the high end smartphones these days was a little disappointing, Slash gear was confident that with Google's Zero shutter technology and solid, slick body made Galaxy Nexus a strong contender.

Thisismynext saw Galaxy Nexus as a  offspring of Nexus S and Galaxy SII. The giant 4.65-inch screen on the phone also somehow blended in well and sat pretty with its curved design. The folks over at site weren't too impressed with the touch as well. According to them, a iOS and Windows phone has a more swift and responsive touch.

However all in all Galaxy Nexus first impressions are pretty good. We are looking forward to grabbing this stylish beauty and take a dive down its features and functions. Stay tuned.
