How to set up parental controls on the Apple iPad

Apple's iPad is a great device and, most importantly, it's one the entire family can use. But if you're worried about young children stumbling across something they shouldn't, say an adult-orinted movie trailor, then you might want to set up some parental controls.
Don't worry – it's very easy to do. And you can even prevent someone from buying and installing apps from the App Store.
To enable Parental Controls - or Restrictions - click on Settings, then General and scroll down to Restrictions.
Click on this and then Enable Restrictions. If this is the first time you have accessed this feature you will be prompted to enter and re-enter a four-number passcode.
Then you will arrive at the Restrictions control panel where you can choose which applications can be used as well as the level of access to rated content such as movies, music and applications.
