You can send photos to Facebook, Web albums and via email very easily and in the photo viewer the handset’s accelerometer comes into play to flip shots into wide mode which is often the better way to view them.
You’ll have picked up by inference that GPS is here, and the handset sports HSDPA. There’s no Wi-Fi in this mid-ranger but of course you’ve got Bluetooth. Web browsing is catered for by the NetFront browser which performs well in the small screen.
There’s plenty of software from Sony Ericsson’s large library. The GPS is used with Tracker (good for runners), NearMe (good for those who want to find stuff nearby) and Google Maps (good for all of us). There’s an FM radio. And there’s a Facebook application hidden away in the Messaging folder.
We ended up liking the Yari for more than just its gesture gaming. We reckon you’ll come to this handset for the gesture gaming, but stay for the rest of what’s on offer.
