Know Your Mobile explores the delicious Android Ice Cream Sandwich powered Zync Z999 Plus tablet that packs in 3G and Wifi connectivity options and more

Zync brings its latest offering - a 3G Android 4.0 tablet dubbed Zync Z-999 plus to the consumers constantly looking for 'more for less'.

This 7-inch tablet sports a 800x480 pixels resolution and comes equipped with a LED screen that enhances the brightness of the screen making it ideal for  reading, watching movies and playing games.

Powered by a 1.5GZ single core ARM Cortex A8 processor, the device also packs in 3G SIM slot and a expandable memory of 32GB alongside a standard RAM of 512 MB and a flash memory of 8GB.

The device also packs in a inbuilt WiFi based on N-series which helps in better battery consumption, a  2-mega pixel back camera and a VGA front facing camera with HD video playback support.

Taking on from where its predecessor, Zync 999 left, the tablet focuses on providing consumers with longer battery life that stands at 4200 mAh  - providing a backup of 8-10 hours on regular use and 5 hours on gaming.

Talking about gaming, the tablet has provides a better gaming experience thanks to its GPU Mali 400 and 3D graphics OpenGL 2.0.

The new and improved tablet also brings on board a better touch response, which its predecessor lacked.

The company has tied up with Big Flix and iBibo for movies and includes host of apps including Movie player, BBC news and What’s app messenger, Angry Birds to name a few.

The device comes along with a  keyboard, which we thought was the best feature. We had no issues typing comfortably on both the portrait as well as landscape mode. The keyboard comes in a nice pouch like packaging and even when added to the tablet is quite handy to carry. In fact it all rolls in quite neatly - imitating a diary of sorts.

The company claims of providing ideal after sale service. For Z-999 plus, it is offering a one year comprehensive warranty along with a  pick up and drop facility incase of any issues.

Priced at Rs 11,990, the device is fourth in the Z-series, after Z-909 plus, Z-990 and Z-990 plus and makes for a ideal buy, if you are willing to overlook the low screen resolution, camera and 512 MB RAM.
